My earliest and happiest memories are of times exploring the outdoors with my family. We spent many summers hiking mountain trails, riding bikes in the forest and picking wildflowers on evening strolls.
And it has shaped who I am today. I am the happiest when surrounded by nature, and the joy and peace I experience, when immersed in it, become therapeutic. For the healing power of nature is undeniable.
Whether hiking on a trail or simply basking in the sun in a park, the joy it brings, even for a brief moment, is unparalleled. All senses come alive, as if dormant for a while, and the fresh earthy scents and crisp soothing sounds start permeating through us, like a sweet melody that enchants the soul. And the body, free of the mind and in a constant state of marvel, finally surrenders to the elements, and exhales.
So put on a hat, grab a pair of comfy shoes and take a stroll in your garden or a nearby park. I promise, it will be worth it.
